The best for you and your Horse Fantastic Location Impressive Facilities

Crow Wood Equestrian Centre. First class stabling and facilities.

Developed with you in mind to our exacting standards.

Horse owners tend to be a hardy breed. Cold, wind, rain and the “four seasons in one day” vagaries of our climate are often the realities of the sport. Now, picture a purpose built facility developed with you in mind and aimed at ‘all weather’ use, 365 days a year. Nothing should prevent you from enjoying your horse. Not even the great Lancashire weather.

Come visit us, our facility speaks for itself…

Our circular ‘all weather’ gallop is complemented by three kilometres of ‘all weather’ trails, forming an optional cross country course with 25 obstacles including hedges, water, steps, ditches, etc. First class stabling is well-planned and housed in three purpose-built American-style barns - learn more about full and part livery. Two brand new arenas have been added to our already impressively equipped facilities– one 61mx22m indoor arena surfaced in the very latest classic cushion track and one outdoor 61mx30m combi-ride - making 4 schools in total. Plus a covered horse walker, ample secure on-site parking covered and a laundry are just some of the high quality facilities that are available to you. And with excellent motorway access, we’re conveniently located too.

Also available for use is our washroom and solarium. This facility is open to visitors to use on an ad-hoc basis, and that’s just fine too! We’re often told what a friendly and welcoming bunch we are! And when you feel in need of warmth and comfort yourself, you’ll be glad of our centrally heated indoor lounge area where you can enjoy a hot drink and take the weight off your feet. We’re proud of the facilities on offer here at Crow Wood and should you want to know more about our facilities click here. Or just pop down and see us!
